Crafting the Logo
The companies flagship product is candles molded like famous sneakers. The brand was designed to feel fashionable, minimalist, and sophisticated. The 's' brandmark in the logotype was inspired by a wisp of smoke like that that comes from a burning candle.
Visual Language
The typography encapsulated the attitude of the brand and the typeface combination was chosen to provide flexibility across mediums and allow for sophisticated and minimalist combinations that echo much of that seen in fashion and streetwear.
Packaging the Product
Packaging for the shoe candles was inspired by sneaker packaging and designed to give the buyer a feeling of anticipation, sophistication, and fashion with minimalist typography and limited colors. An additional brand element of a melted wax motif comes is used on the top of the box which provides a hypnotic focal point for the package.
Aside from sneaker candles the initial brand launch included paint-can candles. Labels were designed to be heavily typographic in contrast to the traditional home-candle market which is oversaturated with minimalism.
